SPEAKER:  Sean McCauley

Sean McCauleySean McCauley is a Combat and Fitness Coach, Head of Security at C3 Church Calgary West. Together with his Wife of 28yrs Barb, and their youngest Daughter Naomi (23yrs), they have built Formidable Combative Arts and Fitness and Urban Fit Inc. in Calgary and Cochrane AB. Their oldest Daughter Teresa (25yrs) lives in Calgary with her Husband Eric who ministers in Brentview Baptist church.

Prior to this, Sean and Barb were in Pastoral ministry for close to 25 years in Alberta and Saskatchewan. Through these years they did everything from children’s ministry youth, worship, discipleship, youth centres and planted two churches while running a graphic design business.

This was always the life long plan and vision; to plant churches and see revival in Canada.

In 2010 a car accident changed everything. A subsequent concussion and leg injury left Sean and his family in a desperate situation; in his 40’s, much of what he was known for, and everything he found purpose in and envisioned for his life, was now gone.

The 8 years since have been a no holds barred, practical and raw application of years of theory. So many years of preaching, now put to the test. Does faith and God really work in the real world?

How does one overcome”

  • Depression and Fear?
  • Mental and Physical health issues?
  • Complete career and identity change in your 40s?
  • Being a ‘old man’ in a young man’s arena?
  • Fear of success?

What does it mean:

  • To build a community/tribe of friends you can entrust your life with?
  • To be full of Peace?
  • To be Strong and Ready for anything?
  • Fully integrate one’s life (body, soul and spirit)?
  • Live an abundant life?
  • Share the love of Christ as a man and a warrior?

“If you would have told me in 2009 what I would be doing now, I would have laughed you out of the room. I wouldn’t have believed it. And I would have excused myself from it and the cost. Now, I can wholeheartedly say, without any hesitation, that I would not have traded this season of my life for anything. It has been the most difficult, gut wrenching, doubt filled, agonizing period of my life. But it has become everything I had hoped and dreamt it could be. The most exhilarating, joyful, challenging and fruitful season so far. For me, my Family and my Tribe.”

Greg Cooper has been involved in worship since he was a child.  Greg has led worship in a variety of settings and churches and has a passion to see the church worship in spirit and in truth. Greg lives in Eston, Saskatchewan with his wife and three children, where he serves as the Youth Pastor at the Eston Full Gospel Church.
