“In a cool solitude of tree,
where leaves and birds a music spin,
mind that was weary is at ease,
new rhythms in the soul begin.”
-William Kean Seymour
Embrace God. Embrace Nature. Embrace Family. Embrace Time. Breath deep the fresh forest air. Capture the reflection of the sunset over the water. Feel the morning mist on your face. Experience God speak to your soul.
July 25 – 30, 2021
Family camp is unique, in that you can allow Moose Lake to be the quiet retreat you need for your own spiritual renewal, or you can involve yourself with all the activities our camp has to offer; including great teaching and worship held during both our morning and evening services. We offer a nursery during our morning service, we as an hour in the afternoon.
We have multiple types of watercraft you can enjoy at no extra cost, as well as a sauna that often runs a few times of day (and definitely every evening). Navigate your way through our forest trails, or walk your dog down the gravelled road. Children love bouncing on the trampoline and trying their luck at box hockey. Boating, tubing, waterskiing, and wakeboarding are a favorite for most; or wander slowly through the trails on the back of a horse during one of our scheduled rides.
New this year:
Has your child wanted to come to camp, but needs to have you there? Are 5 nights too long to be away? Have your child & youth experience a full-day camp experience, while sleeping under the same roof as their parent/guardian.
We will be having Child & Youth Programming beginning each day (meeting at the Chapel for morning service), and ending around a campfire for their own snack & evening service. The in-between will include morning service, crafts, activities, games, and of course both lunch and supper.
